Baptismal Program

Picture
BAPTISMAL PREPARATION
The 4 steps in preparation are led by a group of parishioners.
  • Parents need to contact the Parish Office to be enrolled in the preparation program.
  • The parents are required to attend a meeting, held on the last Tuesday of each month, which details the procedures for Baptism at St. Peter's and at which dates are finalised.
  • The family preparing for Baptism then presents their child to the Parish community at 9:00am Mass on the first Sunday of the month
  • Baptisms are then conducted at 10:30am on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.
Inquiries to the Parish Office

For your child’s Baptism, you will need:
  •             A Baptismal candle
  •             A White Garment (garment or stole) which will be placed on your child during the ceremony
  • These are provided by the parish at the Baptism Information Meeting, though you may certainly provide your own candle and stole.

  • COST OF THE BAPTISMAL PROGRAM
  • There is no cost as such but a donation would be greatly appreciated.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our St Peter’s community.
