Parish Finance Council
The Parish Finance Council is convened in accordance with Church law and assists the Parish Priest to meet his financial and administrative responsibilities.
The members of the Council are appointed by the Parish Priest and serve a term of three years. This term may be extended but some change in membership should take place every three years.
The Parish Finance Council may be called upon in the areas of:
- Financial management
- Financial reporting
- Legal Matters
- Administration
- Overview and support of the Parish School.
The Council meets regularly to review the finances of the Parish to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet the ongoing Parish needs by reviewing the Planned Giving Program and to assist the Parish meet its Pastoral responsibilities by ensuring adherence to the budget.
