Children who have been baptised are eligible to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation, Reconciliation and First Eucharist from the age of seven years. This involves three programs:
- The Sacrament of Confirmation is held for children in Year 3 or higher, usually in Term 3.
- Having completed the Sacrament of Confirmation, children in Year 4 or higher are invited to join the Reconciliation (Term 1) and First Communion Program, usually during Term 2.
- The major Reconciliation Program, called the Sacrament of Penance program is offered to children in Years 5 – 6 to teach them to use the First Rite of Reconciliation. This program enables the children to look at personal responsibility, choices and forgiveness from a more mature perspective than when they were in Year 4 and were first introduced to the Sacrament.

Sacramental Team
The Sacramental Team comprises four to six parishioners – usually parents - who work with the Parish Priest to plan, prepare and coordinate programs for the children preparing for Sacraments. The Team also arranges meetings with parents for adult faith development. Participation in the Team is an enriching experience which helps the faith of the members as well as supports the faith of children and parents.
